Die internationale Tagung ADVANCED EMISSION CONTRL CONCEPTS for GASOLINE ENGINES beschäftigt sich mit der kommenden internationalen Abgasgesetzgebung der Emissionen von Benzinmotoren, v. a. der direkt einspritzenden Ottomotoren.
Dabei steht die Partikelfilter-Technologie im Vordergrund. Dabei belegen aktuelle Test Zyklen die Ergebnisse.
In recent years the increase of energy efficiency and an improved environmental compatibility were driving forces in further developing combustion engines. The demand for an at least locally emission-free electric drive is high but its realisation is a tremendous challenge. For quite some time we will be driving vehicles with a significantly improved combustion engine. Moreover gasoline engines will be the choice for passenger cars and HEV concepts.
Under pending EU legislation, CO2 emissions and toxic exhaust gas such as nano particulates are to be reduced. The elimination of pollutants and especially particulate matter for gasoline direct injection engines is an essential topic which is being closely examined by governmental authorities all over the world.
In order to meet future regulations of the EU, technological standards of exhaust aftertreatment systems for gasoline engines must improve. In addition new ways and approaches in emission control will have to be found in combination with advanced technologies such as hybrid electric vehicles.
This conference will explore and critique competing technologies and concepts and help delegates to find solutions to the changing technological requirements of exhaust aftertreatment and in engine emission control for gasoline engines.
Take this opportunity to network with industry experts, learn from international case studies and discuss the technological and constructive challenges and innovations with experts from the European Commission, Hyundai Motor TG GmbH, Emitec Gesellschaft für Emissionstechnologie, Corning Inc. and many more.
Workshop A: Filter testing – necessity of verification methods in view of legal requirements and corresponding regulations
Workshop B: GPF’s potential as a realistic solution for emission control of GDI
